The partnership between the Hublot Manufacture and the Vaud Wines Office (OVV), which began in 2014, covers many aspects. One of its strengths is the production of 1000 bottles of a special vintage wine on behalf of the brand. After intense debate, the panel announced their verdict: the “Dézaley de L’Evêque” 2014, Dézaley Grand Cru AOC, wine produced by Patrick Fonjallaz was selected for 2015. Once it bears the manufacture’s colours, the chosen wine will be served to fans of the watchmaking brand in Switzerland and abroad. In the wake of La Côte and Chablais in 2014, this second selection highlighted the Dézaley Grand Cru appellation, known for its steep slopes and terraced vineyards.
The panel of wine tasters, representing the manufacture and wine specialists in equal numbers, scrutinised many wines with the Dézaley Grand Cru appellation. There was one clear winner for Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, “The golden hue of the wine, its freshness and its fruity flavour give this “Dézaley de L’Evêque” 2014, Dézaley Grand Cru AOC, an extraordinary complexity. I can’t wait to share this wine with our customers.”
The panel of wine tasters included:
